BEEF BURGERS TOPPED WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE, RED ONION MARMALADE, AND JALAPENO SLICES
Beef Burgers topped with Cheddar Cheese, Red Onion Marmalade, and Jalapeno Slices
- 2 tbsp Ladle Fine Foods Red Onion Marmalade
- 1 tsp Ladle Fine Foods Sliced Jalapeno Chillies (to taste)
- 500 g extra-lean ground round
- 3/4 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Sunflower oil
- 4 slices white cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns (toasted)
- 4 teaspoons canola mayonnaise
- Prepare grill to medium-high heat.
- To prepare the burger patties combine oregano, salt, garlic powder, and ground beef. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a 12 cm-thick patty. Place the patties on grill rack coated with sunflower oil and cook 2 minutes on both sides. Place a cheese slice on each patty and cook for a further 2 minutes or until done.
- Spice the bun through and spread each side of the bun with the mayonnaise. Place a beef patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top the bun with the Ladle Fine Foods Red Onion Marmalade and the Fine Foods Sliced Jalapeno Chillies and place the bun on top.
